In 2006, Sonali Kolhatkar co-authored, with James Ingalls, one of the earliest progressive political analyses of the US war in Afghanistan, Bleeding Afghanistan: Washington, Warlords, and the Propaganda of Silence.
Kolhatkar’s essays have also appeared in a number of anthologies, including:
